My Pro Tools mixing setup is a digital "in the box" mixing system. All automation, digital EQ, compression and effects are performed digitally in my Pro Tools mixing system along with the incredible UAD-1 audio card.

The Universal Audio UAD-1 is a PCI card that works inside most Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) host programs like Pro-tools, Logic, Cubase, and Nuendo.

Audio Engineering

I primarily work with Hip Hop, Pop, and R&B. I spend an average of 8 hours (often more) per mix. I charge a flat rate per song so you know what your costs will be, and in this recession that is a absolute must! For new clients, I offer one free test mix. This way you can hear what I can do for you before commiting to investing your hard earned money. As this is a test mix, please do not request outlandish special effects and edits!

Mixing Rates/Process

I will make three revisions to the mix for the quoted price. Further changes are welcome, but I need to be paid for my time. If a song needs more revisions, my $30hr rate is applied for further changes.

* Email me to describe in detail your mixing session.

* Send me your tracks in the mail (CD-R or DVD-R) or upload them to my FTP server (I will provide a personal link upon payment of deposit).

What I do

Once all instruments, voices, and sounds, etc., have been recorded, I create what is called the "mixdown" of a song.

I basically blend or 'mix' the elements of the recorded piece together to achieve a good balance of the instrumental and vocal volume. I also adjust other properties such as pan positioning, effects.
